Here’s a quick recap from our time at the shore

the good:
-Chris and Becky are pregnant with twins.
-the Revs v. DC game was on TV for some reason and the Phillies were already done for the day so I got to watch the game.
-Our dinner for 20 of home made sausage, home made mustard and Osler potato salad was well received.
-Our dessert of Brigham’s milkshakes was also well received, and drinking them will help to fight off osteoporosis.
-Maureen and I won the water ballon toss.
-We got to spend a week with Fiona.
-I taught Connor about red tide.
-Reen and I got a wonderful evening swim in on Friday as we tried to stretch our time as far as we could.
-the Red Sox swept the series at Philly, 3-0.
-neither of us got sunburned.

the bad:
-the Revs lost the DC game 0-2, for their first loss of the season.
-I still couldn’t get vanilla ice cream on my donut for breakfast at Browns.
-My bathing suit went missing all week. Reen found it while we were packing to leave.
-The book I bought for the beach started to come apart at the binding almost immediately, so I had to kind of hold it half closed while I was reading it to keep from destroying the rest of it.
-Mike and I tied during our first mini-golf outing of the week, and then Reen, Nathaniel, Mike and I had a 4-way tie on the second mini-golf outing of the week.

the ugly:
-On the third and final mini-golf outing, I finished dead last with Mike taking this year’s crown by 3 strokes over Reen and Nathaniel.
