hole in the ozone
As we were enjoying yesterday's weather in the 80's, we headed to the beach where I had to put sunscreen on my head. Not the face part of the head either, rather more in the top/rear area where my lovely baldspot has been making a home for itself. I've been thin back there for a while now, with my first concrete realization coming when we got our wedding photos back a few years ago. There's definitely some pride lost when you have to smear SPF30 on your noggin and to add a second layer of annoyance, I'm not completely bald up there yet. So I'm left to work my way in there, smearing my hair with goo until I reach my head. And we all know how well suncreen and body hair go together, very fetching. Next time I'll bring a hat.
